Our volunteers are the heart of DChanger UK. Whether you’re a cancer survivor, a compassionate listener, or someone with professional skills to share, there’s a place for you in our family.

Current Volunteer Roles:

• Peer Support Companions – Befriend members that need support in this area, where our volunteers visit for one hour and engage the member but don’t give medical advice. They can go for a walk, chat or go to have coffee/tea
• Transportation – volunteers ensure bus passes are made or re embossed, uber arrangements made where necessary.
• Administrative Support – volunteers make calls to check up on how members are doing, especially when you have just been discharged from hospital, entering of data into the system, renew services the charity uses eg zoom link, arrange board meetings, volunteer meetings, etc
• Event Coordinators – volunteers get involved to the smooth running of events/programs from beginning to the end.
• Professional Services (legal, accounting, marketing)
